The name "RoofTurbo" was born during our engineering process, when one of our engineers said, "This system works like a turbocharger for a roof." Just like a turbo boosts engine performance, Roof Turbo supercharges your attic ventilation. The name stuck!

How it All Started

The journey of Roof Turbo began over 30 years ago when the founder of America's largest residential roofing company realized a widespread problem: traditional attic ventilation systems often fail to do the job well. Ridge vents, gable vents, static roof vents, even solar and power vents, were tested extensively, yet many of them underperformed, or even made the situation worse. Most systems pulled air from the nearest opening, rather than drawing in cooler air from the eaves, leading to poor airflow and inefficient attic cooling.

Determined to solve this problem, we spent years conducting rigorous flow testing, smoke analysis, and temperature trials. The conclusion was clear: only a positive pressure system-one that forces air out of all ventilation points-provided consistent and reliable performance.

But at the time, technology made such a system too costly for widespread residential use.

Fast forward to today. With advancements in solar technology, outer rotor motors, and smart circuitry, we've engineered a breakthrough solution that makes high-performance attic ventilation accessible.
